"Nina Cutro-Kelly has been named a recipient of a $2,500 Rusty Kanokogi Grant. The Rusty Kanokogi Fund for the Advancement of U.S. Judo was established in 2009 to provide direct financial assistance to aspiring judo athletes with successful competitive records who have the potential to achieve even higher performance levels and rankings. The goal of the fund is to relieve aspiring elite-level female judo athletes of the financial burden associated with competing at higher levels and to permit them to concentrate on their training. Requests for assistance are considered for coaching, specialized training and/or travel.

 

Nina has been named to the United States Team that will compete in the 2011 Senior Pan American Championships in Guadalajara, Mexico April 1-3, 2011. Following the conclusion of the Pan Am Championships, Nina will return to France for the remainder fo April before returning to the US to compete in the Senior National Championships in Orlando, FL May 1-2, 2011."
